Hey there! I'm Brooke, the girl behind the camera! I'm a 25-year-old California girl, born and raised. My equestrian photography journey began at a Grand Prix in Del Mar, California, where I first fell in love with capturing the beauty, power, and partnership of horse and rider. Ever since then, I've been inseparable from my camera and horses.
I officially launched my professional photography business at the end of 2019, spending my first winter season in the desert at Desert Horse Park. In 2020 and 2021, I worked closely with and learned from Sara Shier Photography, one of the leading international equestrian photographers, gaining invaluable experience as both an official show and private client photographer.
Following working a full winter circuit under Sara’s guidance in 2021, I began accepting private clients of my own and quickly established myself as one of the top private client equestrian photographers on the West Coast. Now, in 2026, I’m beyond grateful and honored to work with many long-term clients who have trusted me for years to capture the moments that matter most to them.
While my primary focus is private client and equestrian sport media, I also specialize in equine and rider portraiture. My journey into equine portraiture began with my own heartbreak when I wished I had more than cell phone photos of my first horse, Yogi, and felt it deeply again when I suddenly lost my mare, Indi, in 2023. While no number of photos can ever capture everything, I hope to add timeless, sun-soaked images to your collection that you’ll treasure forever.
